why: this post is the next installment in my personal series for geometric designs influenced by several of famous paintings by Piet Mondrian, a Dutch artist in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This time I went with the upcoming autumn season shape of pumpkin and Halloween colors to do in random block areas.

how-to & vendor notes :

1. a variety of colored pencils = stash = probably mix of Crayola, Crazy Art, Liqui-tex and/or Marvy Uchida

2. black ink pen = for outer perimeter shape = stash

3. journaling notebook with elastic band closure; 80 sheets of peach tone grid/graph paper; sold/distributed with Dollar General stores corporation
