Loving my HQCB #77 theme AG with orange and purple hearts DT card on 28 Aug 2025

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity!

why: this post focuses on my newest design team/owner project commitments for HQCB which is Heart's Quest Challenge Blog. #77's theme is anything goes with included orange and/or purple heart(s). It doesn't have to be seasonal/holiday for harvest or Halloween but it can be. I've decided to do 1 card for each. 

when: #77 starts August 28, 2025 and ends on September 27, 2025.

what: Project #1 = Jolly Jack-o-lanterns and Spiders card



how-to & vendor notes for #1 =

1. orange flat card base with matching envelope = from multicolor pack = Darice

2. purple cardstock scrap panel = Pen + Gear (I think; old; in my scrap pile)

3. white cardstock scrap for hearts = Georgia Pacific

4. Tangerine Tango and Fresh Fig stamp pads/inks dabbed for hearts = SU

5. jack-o-lanterns glossy cardstock panel = from Halloween paper pack = Pixie Dust Designs

6. clear with print puffy stickers (spiders and webs) = Craftology bought at Michael's Arts and Crafts

7. cardstock edges distressed using the edge of scissor blade

8. two different black markers to create the spider's connecting web strand(s)

23. lavender and white checked gingham paper = Hot Off The Press

24. white cardstock scraps for the inked hearts = Georgia Pacific

25. Tangerine Tango and Fresh Fig stamp pads = SU

26. red-orange marker colored the wood 'hello' and outlined the checked paper = stash

27. wood 'hello' is part of a 4 piece mixed words package = Crafter's Square

28. lion pop-up sticker from a mixed animal set package = Crafter's Square

    1. The spider card is a bit chaotic! :) Lots to look at! Probably looks about as crazy as a night of trick-or-treaters receiving candy on the front porch! :)
