why: This post showcases my year-round wintry outdoors rural Christmas themed crafting challenge blog called FarmQuest Country Christmas. The emphasis here is on the outdoors examples of exterior holiday decorations, winter weather, nature/landscapes, wintry outdoor activities like ice skating on a frozen pond, etc. Project #1 is a set of tags featuring a mix of poinsettias with either holly, pine, snowflakes &/or other berry stems.
when: FQCCCB #31 will launch on April 7, 2026 and go until May 5, 2026.
what: Project #1: Four Christmas tags to decorate on door knobs or go on a gift package
how-to & vendor notes for #1:
1. base tags are scallop-top kraft tags (part of a pack) = Crafter's Square
2. large scale poinsettias with berries, pine greens and one has a large white snowflake print paper = from Snow Pine Lodge collection by Simple Stories
3. little green tone snowflakes, pink holly leaves, lamp post, pine greens and text stickers = from Snow Pine Lodge sticker book by Simple Stories
4. pink pearls, green crystal gems, red pearl, red crystal heart gem = all from different product packaging = Crafter's Square
5. red and white cording = also from Crafter's Square
6. note: the 3 1/2 tags print paper is from the bottom half of a sheet from the Snow Pine Lodge paper pad; the upper half of the sheet has a jumbo font size "Holly Jolly..." that I've chosen not to use.
