who: I'm Becca S; a 60+ year old blogger with an artsy-craftsy merged style who also likes to mish-mesh old and newer products together from different companies. I've been sharing some of my childhood, teen, and a few college age experiences in fine arts and practical arts. Another interesting tidbit about me is living in 5 states so far! Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas and Missouri. My life began in Illinois and maybe it will finish in Illinois. Only God knows that. Joe and I have lived the past almost 23 of our married 30 years in central Illinois. Whew!!! I've had times in my life for city living but much more in rural small towns, a few farms and villages!

why: I started this challenge blog in January 2025! 17 months ago! Many challenge blogs would offer a shaped card theme periodically but no one exclusively offered anything goes shaped cards and/or shaped tags theme. These projects are my newest DT/owner inspiration samples for HQFSCAT.
what: Project #1 : Today is a Beautiful Day! square shaped card
how for #1:
1. Are these birds kingfishers? or swallowtails? I know they aren't barn swallowtails because their coloring is very different. I've been dive-bombed too many times at the farm.
Patterned CS measured and cut to 6" square = Antique Garden collection by K & Company
2. gold foil sticker = Antique Garden sticker book by K & Company
3. bright blue CS measured and cut to 6.5" square = Astrobrights/Neenah
4. bright blue scrap cut after sticker was applied and given ribbon tails/swallowtails
5. Fish Tank/blue mini stamp pad = Lawn Fawn
6. blue colored pencil = Marvy Uchida = stash box
7. navy blue pearl gems = from large package = Crafter's Square
