Christmas in July card Rejoice Jesus Is Born non dt project on 2 July 2026

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Creativity, a personal crafting blog!

Who: I'm Becca S, a 60+ year old artsy-craftsy, mish-mesh mix it up creative thinker living with my husband of 30+ years and our rescued little dog Mister Bennett. We think Mr. B is either 15 or 16. The family thinks he was in his mom's 2nd or 3rd litter, yet she's only 1 or 2 years older according to them. So I think she was a puppy herself when she started becoming a mom. We've just recently celebrated his 6th 'gotcha' day.

Where: this is a non-design team related project; just for fun; just for me

Why: This will be linked to Christmas in July special challenges and/or Christmas challenges during July.

what: Project #1= "Rejoice: Jesus is born" Christmas card

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. AGCC elements are the snowflakes and stars (winter weather/nature)

2. green cardstock base; folded on top; dimensions are 4.25" x 5.5" = Pen + Gear

3. dark green with white dot print paper; punched circle = Bo Bunny Christmas paper pad (several years old)

4. angel sticker + 'rejoice' sticker = from a religious organization solicitation mail insert

5. staples/stapler = stash

6. tulle/netting (circles; this piece was folded twice, stapled then trimmed to give a cloud/halo effect) = pack by Crafter's Square

7. silver snowflake dazzle/stickers = several sizes and types of snowflakes by Hot Off The Press; bought through Paper Wishes website

8. star stickers = multicolor pack = Crafter's Square

9. enamel dots = multicolor pack = Crafters Consortium
