My featured FQCB #77 Pumpkins theme DT projects for 28 October 2025

why: this post's focus is FarmQuest Challenge Blog's #77 theme of Pumpkins! It's a pumpkin-related broad theme just not only to pumpkin patch/farm scenes like pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, a stack of pumpkins in a wagon or pickup truck bed, etc. I've created two different approaches to pumpkins with these 2 projects. 

when: #77 starts October 28, 2025 and ends November 27, 2025

what: Project #1 = Pumpkin-shaped Delight card

how-to & vendor notes for #1 =

1. multi pumpkins print cardstock = Recollections' Heirloom Harvest (?)...something like that

2. yellow and white checked paper for base = from ____ paper pad by/ maybe FPD (I'm in the middle of moving my supplies into my new craft studio-she shed!) 

3. faux brad with dark orange flowers = from the FaBOOlous collection by Simple Stories

4. thin string = stash

5. dark orange mini stamp pad ink = Lawn Fawn (1 of 4 colors in the Front Porch set)

6. I created my own shape template by starting with a narrow oval and overlapping until I got the size and shape and then added an angle-topped stem.

why: The purpose of this posting is to showcase my #33/October owner/DT projects for FarmQuest General Store, a challenge blog. FQGS #33 theme is our monthly theme of Anything Farm and/or Country Goes which wants topics/activities related to rural and remote outdoors or inside of farmhouses, barns, garden sheds, campgrounds, etc. Anywhere around the world and any season of the year such as springtime farm baby animals to summertime catching fireflies to autumn raking leaves or picking apples or pumpkins to winter sledding on a snowy hill!!! 

when: #33 opened 3 hours late this morning, October 7 and will end on November 5 with the closing time changed to around 3 am central time Chicago.

1. Pen + Gear = butternut squash color cardstock cut to 5.25" x 5"

2. American Crafts' Farmstead Harvest = dual-sided leaves & plaid patterned papers

3. AC Farmstead Harvest ephemera = ticket sentiment and puffy pumpkin sticker

4. AC's Thickers/foam stickers "Fallish" set = single piece of pumpkin with leaves

5. Freckled Fawn enamel dots = different sizes and colors

6. Hero Arts black stamp pad = inking the edges on papers/cardstock
