why: This posting features my newest owner/design team inspiration projects for FarmQuest Home Challenges Blog. Both projects are for housing exterior-related topics/elements: window frame with roses/flower box effect and an exterior front home view image tag used on an encouragement card.
when: FQHCB #7 starts March 2 and ends on March 31, 2026.
what: Project #1: laser cut wood arch window frame with roses Birthday card
how-to & vendor notes for #1:
1. top-folded neon orange cardstock base (1/2 of a full sheet of cardstock cut vertically and then folded in half = 4.25" x 5.5" dimensions) = Astrobrights/Neenah (printer's scanner light has faded to peach tone)
2. laser cut primed wood arch window with roses (for a flower box look) = Little Birdie Crafts by Nicole Craft Brands
3. background wood with images/text print cardstock = recycled packaging trimmed
4. Walnut/brown mini stamp pad = Lawn Fawn (for outer cardstock inking)
5. dark brown, red and 4 green markers = different companies in stash box + 1 glitter paint green marker for a set of foliage
6. gold puffy letters and number stickers = Flags and Frills set/pack by American Crafts
