why/purpose: this is an important theme for FarmQuest as we're adding a special top selection honor with Guest DT invite to our bragging recognitions. The theme is 'things found in barns'...these can be ranch barns or farm barns that vary in what might be stored or seeking shelter. So maybe you will show farm animals, a dairy barn set-up (see the Ai-generated image I had created), tractors, wagons, hay bales, feed bags, mice, etc.

why/purpose: this is an important post for HQCB #68 as we change the theming. It will be anything goes with a designated color of heart(s). Since Christmas is almost here, #68 is asking for red and/or green heart(s). I've added several times for red and green! (of course!)

purpose: This posting perfectly celebrates combining love for family and for country living. Heart's Quest has a terrific list of 7 elements that allow for great mix-n-match possibilities. 

when: Heart's Quest Challenge Blog (HQCB) #65 competition starts October 28 and ends November 13, 2024. 

what: PROJECT #1 = my trio ---> quartet used from the list badge are: loose feathers, 1 kraft heart, ombre hearts in the print paper, and gray 'love' as part of the 'love you always' little round sticker

notes for #1:

1. feathers and leaves print cardstock = Heirloom Harvest by Recollections (6" wide x 4" deep)

2. hearts print paper = from Faboolous collection by Simple Stories (orange/red/brown ombre look)

3. yellow scrap cardstock = Neenah

4. orange scrap cardstock = old Pen + Gear (and the kraft & red papers, too)

5. brown dots = bought through Paper Wishes website

6. red glitter 'family' and the orange glitter pumpkin stickers are from same sheet = couple of years old; vendor = ?; don't remember

8. the dimensions for the bottom base kraft portion is 6" wide x 2.5" deep

Olive Oil (I'll love/olive you always/oil-ways) card

notes:

1. plaid cardstock base, text strip sticker, 2 round stickers = from The Simple Life by Simple Stories

2. olive and olive oil bottle clipart image = free for personal use = The Clipart Library website

3. the plant print cardstock is a recycled/upcycled tissue box side panel 

4. ivory/cream cardstock = Neenah

5. green dual-tip marker = Art Skills

what: Project #2 using aisle #8 (cereal) and #10 (milk/dairy)

11. SU papers = orange flowers, white with peach floral and stems, the lime green with white tulip print

12. Recycled = light gray with white geometric print cardstock circles were punched from tissue boxes

13. The Simple Life foam stickers by Simple Stories = two sentiment foam stickers

14. The Clipart Library website = free for personal use = clipart image was printed as black and white on white copy paper and then a variety of markers and colored pencils were used to color the table scene

I Love Promarkers; current; any marker usage; both cards have markers used; on the Olive Oil card, I added green over the clipart gray on the face and neck of the bottle, to the olives, then pine green on the leaves of the olives in the clipart image, a brown line to create a surface for the items to be sitting on with a brown marker, and also a green dual-tip marker to add green to the corners of the ivory paper so there could be some contrast to the plaid base paper
