why: This post's purpose is to highlight my two design team inspiration projects for FarmQuest General Store #37 challenge session. Anything Farm and/or Country Goes is the theme. I've got a Farmer's Market old truck filled with flowers featured on Project #1. And for Project #2, I've 

when: #37 starts February 7 and ends March 5, 2026.

what: Project #1: Happiness is Fresh Flowers from the Farmer's Market

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. rust and tan striped CS for base; cut to 4" x 6" panel = Recollections from Heirloom Harvest cardstock pad

2. brown, tan and ivory floral print CS for background; cut to 3.5" x 5" panel =

4. dark brown marker = stash box' for outlining the text sticker and the background panel with round sticker attached

5. red dual-tip permanent marker = Art Skills; for outlining and dyeing the string

why: This posting focuses on the newest owner/DT contribution project for FQCCCB or FarmQuest Country Christmas challenges blog! AGCC theme code means anything goes country Christmas referring to rural outdoors wintry weather and/or nature and/or activities and/or exterior holiday decorations. Just think of outside a house or church...ice skating on a pond, building a snow fort, a chickadee resting on a snowy branch of a pine tree, etc. 

when: #26 starts November 7, 2025 and ends on December 5, 2025. 

what: Project #1 = It's a Holly-ful Happy Christmas card!

how-to & vendor notes:

1. Bo Bunny = patterned dark greens & holly paper; also die-cut ephemera of the focal/label and the large sprig of holly and berries

2. Pen + Gear = solid green cardstock cut to be 1-2" larger than the focal sentiment label ephemera piece (that took awhile to measure but worth the shaped/unique card base

3. The Paper Studio = red and white buffalo check cardstock strip

4. Freckled Fawn = two colors of enamel dots from 2 different packs; they cover up dark green stars on the focal piece

5. Recollections = gold glitter foam star stickers

6. Crafter's Square = red pearl gems (part of a pack)

7. Hero Arts = black stamp pad for ink edging for all cardstocks/papers

HQFSCAT is Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags with the 'easy' theme of anything goes on a shaped card and/or shaped tag. 

the only shape not allowed is a regular rectangle; variations are accepted such as rounded corners, dog-ear top corners, scallop-topped or scallop-side or a scallop-bottom edge, using a decorative corner punch that changes the angle, etc. 

Heart's Quest Celebrations Of Love Challenges #11 design team projects on 3 Nov 2025

why: This posting showcases two projects for Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love Challenges Blog #11. HQCOLCB has 5 main themes coded as BEWAS for birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries and sympathies. The optional event theme for #11/November is Christmas. This year, HQCOLCB has been promoting holidays one month prior to the month that they occur. We have a new design team member too who is joining DT Meena and I. 

I needed a sympathy card so that's my main theme card and then I did a non-traditional mixed media Christmas card for the #11 optional event theme. 

when: #11 starts November 3 and ends November 30, 2025. 

what: Project #1: from BEWAS main themes ==> S for Sympathy

how-to & vendor notes for #1: the idea for this was 'the wheels of time keep turning'

1. glossy satin specialty paper = Crafter's Square (scrap pack bought either 2 or 3 years ago; several pieces sitting in my scrap box)

2. the chevron print paper panel = from an old card kit from Simple Stories

3. the sage green print washi tape = Farmstead Harvest collection by American Crafts (newest item used on this card)

4. stamp for sentiment = from a mixed bag of clear stamps/unmarked bag; unsure; was given set in a friendship box

5. brown marker pen = Zebra Clickart

6. the wheels and screws puffy embossed stickers = Crafter's Square

22. Thickers' = three stars, bright pink bow and 'celebrate this' banner

23. Art Skills = pink glitter glue

24. Crafter's Square = silver embossed flower using as a poinsettia

25. Lawn Fawn = Guava/pink-coral ink mini stamp pad for edging

26. stash = black ink pen for outlining everything except the pink base

27. Crafter's Square multi-color pack = 12" square cardstock; the pink was measured and cut to create 4 - 6" squares

2A. Aud Sentiments; new on Nov 3; theme of Glitter and/or Christmas w/ sentiment; My project #2 Christmas card has all of those themes!!! Pink Glitter glue used for the large white tree and for the silver poinsettia! The sentiment is "celebrate this" found on the banner puffy sticker
