purpose: this post focuses on my latest 'love' contribution to FarmQuest Challenge Blog; the theme for #56 is 'things found in a desert or dry land' 

when: FQCB #56 starts July 14 and ends July 27, 2024

what: Setting Sun Behind Cacti slimline card

notes:

1. dimensions of yellow cardstock base are approx. 4.5" x 7.5" = Neenah; and same cardstock used for setting sun

2. brown cardstock panel approx. 4" x 6.5" = Recollections

3. rust cardstock panel approx. 3.25" x 6.125" = Recollections

4. cacti clipart, colored; printed on white copy paper = image from The Clipart Library website and is free to print/use for personal usage

5. 'white space' around cacti was colored lightly with red colored pencil and a detail tip black pen was used to add little grass stem marks

6. gold glitter acrylic paint = Art Skills

7. 'take good care' stamp = ? either Hampton Arts or Studio G

8. peach with tulip print and caramel and white striped papers = SU

9. papers and cardstocks ink edged with cocoa brown ink pad = Lawn Fawn

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

purpose: this posting shares my love for a variety of rural outdoor settings including deserts; I haven't been to the USA Southwest of Arizona and New Mexico since I was 7 years old but thanks to my mom taking lots of snapshots with her Kodak camera, I've remembered many of the tourist stops and national landmarks that we visited like the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, 4 Corners, etc. 

Later in my mid-twenties, I spent 2 years living in the D-FW metro area in Texas and got to do some traveling throughout the state to Waco, Tyler, Abilene, and even Glen Rose (dinosaur prints) and also through eastern Oklahoma.
