who: Hello, I'm Becca S, the owner and DT member of Critter Crazy Challenges, a crafting challenge blog featuring critters/animals. I took over the ownership about 1.5 years ago. The design team is a worldwide mix of artisans!
My husband and I are starting our 6th year (as of June 14) as pet parents to Mister Bennett, which we believe is a Chihuahua and miniature Schnauzer mix. Online this is referred to as Chi-zer. The previous owners' daughter has told us that he's a Dachshund and poodle mix but has no poodle characteristics and doesn't have Dachshund ears or muzzle/snout (or even size, height or tail). He fits the Chi-zer better; might have some terrier % in his DNA. Definitely an ugly mix that just makes him loveable!!!
The only rhinos I've seen have been at zoos! This one is a cutie and looks great with the color palette, striped paper and the color-dotted application on the wood laser cut 'friend'.
why: This is my design team inspiration project for #113 for CCC.

how-to & vendor notes for #1:
1. yellow cardstock base (1/2 folded sheet or 4.25" x 5.5") = Pen & Gear
2. heart stickers = multicolor pack = Crafter's Square
3. enamel dots, multicolor pack = Craft Consortium
4. wood laser cut 'friend', plain = came in a mixed word set (hello, sunshine, & friend) = Crafter's Square
5. Fish Tank/blue mini stamp pad (ink) = Lawn Fawn (used in little dabs on 'friend')
6. bright pink and bright yellow washable markers = mixed color pack by Jot (also a black used for the outlining)
7. stripe patterned paper = from a multi design paper pad = Crafter's Square
8. rhino layered stick-on = from a pack of wild animals layered/dimensional stickers = Crafter's Square
9. one tiny pale pink crystal heart = Nicole Brand Crafts (3 different sizes of pale pink hearts)
10. inside = pale blue paper punched circle with a Fish Tank blue stamped 'best wishes'
