HQCOLCB #1.5 EWA Themes or Event Option new pet for 15 January 2024

Purpose: this posting is dedicated to the midway reminder posting for the new Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love Challenges that started on January 2nd.

When: HQCOLCB's first EWA competition started January 2, 2024 and will end on January 31. This midway reminder published on January 15.

What: PROJECT #1= humorous engagement card inspired by the washi tape

Notes:

1. desert rose flat card base with matching envelope = from a multi-color packaged set = Darice

2. bright blue cardstock scrap and white cardstock panel cut down from print document = Neenah

3. Google Doc created for the sentiment

4. donut washi tape = unknown; received in a blessings box from a crafting friend

5. Baby Blue and Pale Aqua colors of alcohol markers = Arteza

Project #2: New Pet = "With You, I Am Home and Blessed" card

Notes:

1. light yellow cardstock = Neenah

2. navy blue, thistle/lavender cardstock panels = D.T. (new)

3. black puppy photo is a recycled mini wall calendar photo; trimmed

4. the 2 heart stickers = Main Street Wall Creations (part of a rainbow and clouds theme set) and (new) 

5. 'cutie' chipboard stickers = Bella Blvd. (new)

6. the small text strips = Simple Stories' The Simple Life sticker book (new)

Sharing my Guest Cookie Artist gig for IYGACAC May 2023 new prompt

What: IYGACAC is If You Give A Crafter A Cookie challenge blog; month-long; cookie photo prompt shown below; cookie color for May 2023 is blue (with neutrals allowed)

For when: May 2023

SHOW and Tell:

1. white cardstock flat base is 4" x 6"; stash [snippet from a scrap piece]

2. light blue paper is index card size; stash along with other scraps, flowers, and blue acrylic squares [snippets/scraps]

3. lace and gingham ribbon was gifted from a JJ group swap partner as an extra!! [and is only about 40% of what I was given!!!--snippet]

4. white "TOY" dazzles/sticker = Hot Off The Press available from Paper Wishes website

5. blue marker outlining around the perimeter of the light blue paper
