Yes, anything that is woodsy, outdoors, rural, farmhouse, cottage, cabin, camping, orchard, garden, fence, gate, hiking trail, fishing, pond, creek, wagon, cow, sheep, pig, duck, goose, turkey, horse, bee hive, ant, picnic, pickup truck, sleigh, snowmobile, basket, barrel, crate, bucket, trough, etc.

Also any of the typical farm/ranch textiles such as denim, plaid, checked gingham, flour sack cloth, burlap, twine, etc.

My design inspiration project's country elements:

Featuring the Reminder project for FarmQuest Theme #15

 Howdy! Welcome to the farm-- FarmQuest Challenge Blog's Reminder Inspiration Project being featured for this personal posting!

FQCB current theme #15 requires at least 1 of these fishing theme options:

My note card has a fish and lots of fishing equipment!

FQCB deadline is 12:30am CT/Chicago on November 13, 2022. 

I forget the dimensions but about 5.5" x 5"; not quite a square; left side fold kraft cardstock base. The fishing lures patterned cardstock is from the Lake Life paper pad by Fancy Pants Designs. The ephemera is Carta Bella. 3 colors of cording with the ends unraveled (to mimic ties on lures) and some red inked edges are the other extras. Easy to make.

FQCB Theme #9 Inspiration Project showcased

 Howdy! Thanks for visiting the farm/FarmQuest through this personal blog!

FarmQuest has a new theme #9

since theme 8, elements are offered as and/or to give crafters more flexibility regarding what they have in their stash

#9= windmill, weathervane, and/or barn

For the main posting of FQCB published earlier today my inspiration project has a windmill and barn. 

This card definitely has charm!! I love the farmhouse vintage checked gingham papers (Hot Off The Press via Paper Wishes website). The yellow gingham tag and 2 ephemera (theme elements) are from different sets by Echo Park. The background yellow and base black cardstocks are stash scraps. Staples to give support legs to the fan blades portion of the windmill was a resourceful touch. The old lettering stickers work perfectly for this card.

FQCB Reminder card Theme #7 showcased

 Howdy! Yippee and Yikes!! FarmQuest has reached the midway point for Theme #7. Its requirements are:

*at least 1 barrel image

AND

*at least 1 image of a watering can or a pitcher (pouring style for tea, lemonade, milk, etc.) or a bucket

You can show a combination of these containers too. 

I can envision cats standing 'round a pail of milk or dogs licking at a rain barrel and/or watering can that is dripping. Lots of other possibilities, too. 

C'mon! Show me your brilliant creativity with this.

On the reminder posting Mags B is the Guest Designer, so please use the provided link shown further down to go see how she made her Theme #7 inspiration card. 

This is my Theme #7 reminder inspiration card:

a. Simple Stories card kits: top-folded white card as base, the 2 print background panel, the large sentiment focal, the rain boots and watering can die-cuts

b. the purple glitter butterfly is from a set of different sizes by Studio 112 through Spotted Canary

c. the barrel clip art image is free from Clip Art Library website and was printed on brown kraft paper then accented with a green/gold stamp pad ink

d. the layered yellow butterfly die-cut type stick-on is an old stash item

Cheerful encouragement card or could be a birthday card! The most difficult thing was placement for all the elements, trying to achieve the best balance.

HQCB Reminder card Color Heart #5 inspiration project

 Heartfelt greetings as I share the red heart in a mostly red card from the Heart's Quest Reminder post for Color Heart #5.

The midway point has come today. Dottie Seubert is the Guest Designer for the reminder post and her gorgeous card can be seen on the reminder post that I will link share down below. 

My card was created for Valentine's Day 2023. 

Stamps were purchased from Sum More Fun using red ink on a light gray-taupe textured specialty paper. The center heart was stamped open, so I used a red glitter paint pen to fill it in especially because the required theme is to have at least 1 red heart shape. 

The background white with red flower paper is a full sheet (4.5" x 6.5") from Mint Berry paper pad that I've set as my goal to bash in 2022 (per 100 pattern paper challenge group in FB). 

Easy to make a beautiful mostly red project with 2 red hearts!

FQCB BONUS card Theme #7 with half barrel and wooden bucket and bushel baskets

Howdy! Yippee! In between crockpot meals, helping my mom, babysitting our honorary granddaughter 2 afternoons in a row, I've gotten some paper-crafting completed! YES!

Welcome to Heart Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog! The purpose of this blog is to showcase the design projects that I make for Heart's Quest and FarmQuest challenge blogs. I also occasionally make bonus inspirations to be able to network and make more social connections to other challenge blogs and Facebook groups through linking.

For this bonus inspiration card I decided to do something different than what I showed on the main post published on June 28th. That card had a full barrel and a watering can. 

This card has a half barrel full of apples, a wood bucket with handle, and 2 different bushel baskets which are not needed but wanted to incorporate and utilize the sentiment tag. 

Clipart Library website provided the images. Echo Park produced the sentiment. Everything else is old stash supplies.

P.S. a 3x great grandfather on my mom's father's side was a cooper (barrel maker) when he came to Illinois from Germany around 1855, I think for the year. He eventually earned enough money working in a town along the Illinois River that he was able to slowly buy some farm acreage every few years. He'd stay in town during the week to work then work the land on weekends. As his sons got older and could help out more, it got to the point that the farm crops and animals made enough income that he could stop being a cooper.
