My Heart's Quest Challenges #84 DT projects for 28 March 2026

why: this posting showcases my newest owner/design team inspiration projects for HQCB or Heart's Quest Challenges Blog. #84's main theme is 'AWAHG' or Anything With A Heart Goes. There is an optional theme with specified heart color(s) of rainbow colors that are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green Blue and Violet! We want folks to use at least 3 or more rainbow colors if you want to be considered for the "Favorite Option" brags recognition. 

My Project #1 card has lots of pink toned hearts and a lavender puffy heart. Then my Project #2 card has 1 white heart with pink, yellow, orange and green dots for the rainbow option. I wanted to have spring season tones so that's why I'm using pink instead of red.

1. ivory A2 card and envelope (from a pack) = Crafter's Square; cut apart into 2 panels with one panel getting trimmed with deckle-edged scissors (Fiskars); also that trimmed panel was lifted up with adhesive foam squares

2. bright pink CS panel = Recollections

3. purple geometric print paper = SU

4. 'love your life' mini card/cut-a-part = very old; not sure of the company whether it might be Webster's Pages, The Paper Studio, or another business

5. layered pink hearts stick-on embellishment = K & Company

6. lavender puffy heart sticker = from a multicolor set = Hello Hobby/Walmart

7. mid-tone pink CS scrap = Recollections

8. 'ticket' shape punch tool = EK Success

and the inside panel was finished this way to coordinate:

Notes:

1. light pink top-folded card base had the gold metallic foil stars; inside was blank (old item from Studio Calico that I've been hoarding); the light pink 'badge' with white heart sticker is also SC

2. gems and dots, pink foil heart die-cut, and lettering stickers for 'wish' are old stash items

3. small round # stickers = Freckled Fawn (came with a set of 0-31 and luckily the colors for '20' and '24' were perfect for SC card base

4. HQCB #45 New Year theme elements are: 'wish', gold stars, '2024' and for heart/love, there are 2 amber heart-shaped gems on the front and the pink foil heart shape die-cut on the inside plus the white heart on the badge sticker
