TFATU #11.5 Midway Reminder DT for 20 November 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

PURPOSE: This posting will share a bonus inspiration project for The Fairy and The Unicorn challenge blog! I'm the owner/DT of TFATU for  a year now! That is hard to fathom. On November 11, I asked Lisa J about taking over the blog and she agreed that day and the rest is now recent history! I've got a wonderful artistic group of crafters from around the globe! There are changes coming to TFATU in 2024. The biggest will be a name change because I'm going to make it part of a Heart's Quest 'family' of challenge blogs. Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge Blog or HQFCB is the name I've chosen. The blog banners and badges will still have the same character/creature options but instead of teal, the main color will be red. Other changes will be shared in December and again in January.

1. Fancy Pants Designs' Enchanted Garden collection: background cardstock is called Field of Flowers and all the stickers come from their stickers sheet

2. the dots on the Field of Flowers cardstock were added using Arteza Everblend Art Markers:

Notes:

1. floral tile wallpaper looking paper, text print paper, and butterfly paper along with the 'memories' sticker, beige heart shape sticker, and the gray/taupe heart foam sticker = Simple Stories' Simple Life collection

3. outlining and doodled hearts were added around the 'memories' sticker

4. pear green Memento ink pad was applied to the 'love' words on the text print along with some neon yellow-green glitter paint pen to highlight the words for required element for HQCB

5. the neon yellow-green glitter paint pen was also added to the wings of 4 butterflies on the posy cut shape paper

6. the pear green Memento ink pad was also applied to all papers outer edges

7. white card base is top-folded; approx. A2 size;

Loving Another Extra Reminder Inspiration for HQCB #39 before 13 October deadline

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog! I've prepared another extra inspiration project for #39 theme with Heart's Quest challenge blog. The topic is perfect for autumn season as we start to slow our pace and take time to show our appreciation to others, whether family, neighbors, pastors, teachers, etc.

Making a Delivery for FQGS #9 AFCG theme starting 7 October 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog! This posting showcases my love for country living. This past February I started FarmQuest General Store challenge blog as a spin-off to FarmQuest so that artisans could have an anything goes place for farm or country topic projects. 

WHAT: FQGS #9 AFCG or AF/CG (anything farm or country goes) theme competition

SHOW and TELL: Autumn Season Friendship card = 

1. chocolate brown 6" square cardstock base = Art Skills/Crafter's Closet

2. stencil "Cracked" = Pink and Main Designs (received from Stencil Fun Challenge Blog for being the random picked prize winner in June!!!); traced onto light yellow cardstock from Neenah

3. stencil shapes are filled with either markers or colored pencils; outlined with metallic gold paint marker pen and a bit of yellow-green glitter paint pen for the perimeter of the stencil traced background panel

4. the 3 stamps = Stampin' Up (1996 or 1997); thick foam dimensional tape used under each stamped circle cut-outs

5. the hive and sentiment ink = chocolate chip brown ink pad = Stampin' Up

6. the honeycomb ink = lemon-lime twist ink pad = Stampin' Up
