WHAT: TFATU #9/September competition using Anything Goes Fantasy theme

SHOW and TELL: Charming Pixie Sending Many Prayers Your Way card= 

1. yellow cardstock base 6" square = Art Skills/Crafter's Closet

2. yellow and white checked gingham scrap = Hot Off The Press via The Paper Wishes website

3. background scraps were given to me by a junk journaling group crafter

4. pre-colored Pixie digital image printed on white cardstock (Neenah) is from The Paper Shelter

5. a light neon yellow-green glitter paint pen was applied to the hair twirls, butterfly trails, the dotted lines in the skirt petals and wings, 

6. evergreen ink pad = Memento

FQCB Reminder Theme #9 Inspiration Project

 Howdy! Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog is my personal blog focusing on the inspiration and bonus projects made for my 2 challenge blogs FarmQuest and Heart's Quest. 

This posting's focus is FarmQuest's Theme #9 Reminder (midway) inspiration project. 

Starting at Theme #8, participants can do an 'and/or' for the listed element options. Theme #9 has three= barn or windmill or weathervane. 

This reminder posting inspiration project uses a tag from Echo Park that had 2 of the 3 elements: barn and rooster weathervane! 

Typically farmers place weathervanes at the topmost point of their barn because it's usually the tallest structure. Windmills will be placed near barns or farmhouses. It just made sense to me to put these together for a challenge theme.

FQCB Theme #9 Inspiration Project showcased

 Howdy! Thanks for visiting the farm/FarmQuest through this personal blog!

FarmQuest has a new theme #9

since theme 8, elements are offered as and/or to give crafters more flexibility regarding what they have in their stash

#9= windmill, weathervane, and/or barn

For the main posting of FQCB published earlier today my inspiration project has a windmill and barn. 

This card definitely has charm!! I love the farmhouse vintage checked gingham papers (Hot Off The Press via Paper Wishes website). The yellow gingham tag and 2 ephemera (theme elements) are from different sets by Echo Park. The background yellow and base black cardstocks are stash scraps. Staples to give support legs to the fan blades portion of the windmill was a resourceful touch. The old lettering stickers work perfectly for this card.
