HQCB #32 Reminder DT card for Travel or Vacation theme plus heart/love on 20 June 2023

WHAT: Heart's Quest #32 reminder/midway posting for Travel or Vacation with heart/love

WHEN: #32 started on June 14 and will end on June 27, 2023 at 12:30am CT/Chicago

SHOW and TELL: kids between 8-15 years of age need to spend part of their summer vacation at camp!!! I have 2 young adult nieces working at the same camp with 1 as a camp counselor and the other is a year round full time employee as the Program Assistant. These bookmark cards are 'just because' encouragement mail.

travel/vacation  = both have camp/outdoor icons, one has hiking trail sign and other has a pickup truck

and for heart/love = the word 'love' has been underlined in red for the text print cardstock plus each card has a red glitter heart sticker }

FQCB Reminder Card for Appreciation Theme #2

 Howdy! Have you seen anything about FarmQuest challenge blog yet? Or what about its Appreciation Cards extra challenge?

This posting features the reminder midway point in the competition already for Theme #2. The appreciation cards challenge uses Thanksgiving expressions and Harvest topic images that are paired up for the themes. 

Theme #2 requires:

*use the Thanksgiving word 'thankful'; it can be used by itself or in a phrase or sentence

AND

*use at least 1 Harvest image of wheat or cornstalk(s)

My reminder card went with  bakery and flour die-cuts to support the wheat clipart image that I printed on yellow cardstock=

FQCB Thanksgiving Harvest Appreciation Cards Challenge Theme #1

 Greetings from Becca's Heart Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog! This time I'm sharing the first gratitude cards made for Theme #1 at an extra challenge/page option at FarmQuest Challenge Blog. 

At first I was planning the extra challenge page option to be just Thanksgiving Day cards but switched to appreciation cards with Thanksgiving/harvest topics and expressions of appreciation to be used in a combination themed challenge. 

Theme #1 requirements are:

*use the phrase 'give thanks'

AND

*use an image/photo/stamp with a mixture of fruits and vegetables

#1= I recycled/upcycled a hospital health and wellness booklet photo image and some packaging (the beige cardstock circle under the image) to pair up next to the fantastic mushroom print cardstock that frankly almost looks floral. [NBUS; this is the first sheet used from Into the Forest, which I think is by Craft Consortium; along with the 3 different enamel dots]

#2= For this card, ephemera from Simple Stories card kit "Love Grows Here" shows up in the doily/lace seed catalog cover image and the tiny circle of veggies for the mix image requirement. Freckled Fawn alpha lettering in a pale peachy-pink with gold provided just the right repeating of hues, too.
