Featuring FQCB #28 Theme is Rain Gear for 14 May 2023

This posting focuses on my DT/owner project for the country topics highlighted at my FarmQuest Challenge blog every month on the 14th and the 28th. #28's theme is Rain Gear. 

Rain, drenched clothes, mud puddles, farmland that needs tiling for better drainage, boots and shoes and maybe some feet that need cleaning, etc. are all part of farm and country life. Galoshes/rain boots, slickers, waterproof jackets and ponchos, umbrellas, and anything else known as 'rain gear' can be used.

WHEN: May 14-27, 2023

SHOW and TELL:

1. three die-cuts = Simple Stories

2. printed paper, gold embossed flower (used as sun rays) = Dollar Tree

3. purple flat A2 card base with matching envelope = Darice

4. the white margin areas on the umbrella were colored blue; the duck's side wing was colored yellow; and the sentiment circle's white lettering has had 4 colored pencils alternated

5. and a tiny scrap of blue cardstock was used as a little puddle under/behind the duck

Loving this HQCB #30 Birthday occasion with heart/love theme DT card

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

This post focuses on my love for incorporating hearts/love into my creative projects! It's the premise for Heart's Quest challenge blog that crafters go on quests in their stashes and digital files for ways to show love and express heartfelt wishes. 

WHAT'S the theme at HQCB? Theme #30 is birthday occasion (image or sentiment) with at least 1 inclusion of heart shape or the word 'heart' or 'love'. HQCB also accepts other formats than cards, so layouts spreads or pages or even a birthday gift tag could be created.

WHEN: May 14-27, 2023

SHOW and TELL:

1. pink A2 flat card base (with matching envelope) from multi-color set = Darice

2. the darker muted blueberry/plum purple ink and pinkish ink for stenciled love = Memento; using a triple offset placement of the stencil

3. the brighter purple acrylic paint, cupcake paper, gold glitter alpha stickers = Dollar Tree

4. the pinkish red 2 sticker = Webster Pages, I think
