FQGS #6 July 2023 REMINDER DT inspiration card

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity! Some challenge blogs are having Christmas in July so that's part of the reason why I stash-quested this card as shown.

WHAT: FarmQuest General Store challenge blog #6/July 2023 reminder; extra DT inspiration by me for my anything farm or country goes theme blog

WHEN: the #6 competition started July 7 and will end August 5th; reminder posting published on July 21

Time change for FQGS starting with August 7th challenge, #7, will start at 12am CT/Chicago or 6am UK.

SHOW and TELL:

1. black cardstock base about 8.5" wide x 5.75" high approx. = Neenah

2. Western USA ranch/mountain scene = upcycled/recycled wrapping paper received from a swap partner as an extra 

3. the tree pulled by the horse was not colored so I used a dark green watercolor pencil to add more pine green to the card and also put some focus on that tree 

4. western cowboy boots image printed on kraft paper and colored with 4 hues of watercolor pencils = freebie image from Pattie's Creations a couple of months ago

5. text box sentiment made by me

For what theme: FarmQuest General Store is always anything farm/country goes theme; so anything that has an outdoor, rural, woods, camping, hiking, mountains, meadows, bee hives, forest animals, farm animals, ponds, swamps, wetlands, barns, wagons, fences, etc.

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

WHAT: I love the imagination involved in most fantasy creatures, hence taking over the ownership of TFATU back in mid-November 2022. Since the challenges are a month-long, I started having reminder posts just after the midway point of competition. Because we start on the 1st Saturday of each month, the # of days differs from month to month. 

WHAT is TFATU? = The Fairy and The Unicorn Challenge Blog that accepts anything fantasy. Make sure it is mythological, magical, or mystical based. We like charming and whimsical but oft-times those creatures/characters are not our definition of fantasy. Take a look at our blog's banner for some classic fantasy creatures and our sidebar for a fuller list.

Featuring FQCB Theme #15 Fishy topics card for design inspiration

 Howdy! On this personal blog I'm featuring the new theme for FarmQuest Challenge Blog. It's 1 of 2 that I started earlier this year. Theme #15 requires 1 of these 3 options:

*fish

*fishing equipment (items like rod-n-reel, lures, creels, tackle boxes)

*boat

These outdoor lake/pond/stream or even ocean fishing topics would be great for masculine birthday cards, scrapping adventures, etc. 

My youngest nephew has been fishing off and on going with a town buddy and this kid's grandpa. I was hoping he would join the bass fishing team at his high school last year but he declined. Maybe he will join this spring during his last semester!??!
