who: Hello!! I'm Becca S and this is 1 of 2 personal crafting blogs which I divide my extensive crafting challenge blog design team projects between! I own 13 challenge blogs and am a design team member only for 3 others owned by friends Marlene and Deanne. 

why: HQCOLCB is 1 of 13 owned crafting challenge blogs. The premise is having themes that reflect the occasions we love to celebrate that honor those we love. I've coded the 5 main themes as BEWAS which are birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries and sympathies. Then each challenge has an optional event or topic theme. For #31 the option is travel/vacation.

why: this posting showcases my latest shaped creations, a card and a tag, for HQFSCAT or Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags Challenges Blog. The theme is easy: anything goes on a shaped card and/or shaped tag. The only shape NOT allowed is the standard rectangle however variations on a rectangle are allowed like z-fold where there is a top side diagonal line, making 2 angles less than 90 degrees, scallop-topped, dog-eared top, rounded corners, etc.

DT CALLS:

1. FarmQuest General Store (FQGS) = I'm the owner. FQGS started in February this year as a spin-off to its themed twice per month parent blog (FarmQuest Challenge Blog). FQGS however is a month-long competition blog with an 'open' anything farm and/or country goes theme topics. FQGS started on June 7 and will end on July 5th then it will re-open on July 7 and stay open until August 5th and continue to repeat. Currently the DT members are just preparing 1 inspiration project per month. Acceptable formats are cards, ATCs, tags, bookmarks, TN spreads/calendars/planners/art journals, and larger scrapbook layouts. So lots of the paper-crafting or hybrid (digital and paper) project types. The possibilities for country creativity is endless. Making a Delivery for FQGS #5 June 2023 DT inspiration card

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

This posting features another DT inspiration project for one of my challenge blogs--FarmQuest General Store.

WHAT: FQGS #5 Anything Farm and/or Country Goes theme competition

WHEN: #5 starts on June 7, 2023 at 1am CT/Chicago and ends on July 5, 2023 at 1am CT/Chicago time. 

SHOW and TELL:

 

1. left-side folded, lower half would open up from right to left and then the part with the large yellow plastic aster would open left to right; I've stapled this shut due to the weight of the flower; card base (from a set) by Hot Off The Press/Paper Wishes website

2. Memento tear drop shape ink pads used; cantaloupe for the thanks page and tangelo for the higher back fold

3. four colored pencils used to outline the die-cut sections with the yellow checked gingham paper 

4. gingham paper and barn siding paper = also Hot Off The Press/Paper Wishes website

5. sunflower stickers and large plastic aster = Dollar Tree

 Greetings to this personal paper-crafting focused blog about my quest for love and country creativity! This particular post is for farm/country.

FarmQuest Challenge Blog #25 theme has some options:

MY DT INSPIRATION=

[FQCB theme #25 elements= 'fungi' pun; black background patterned cardstock and the border scene cardstock have lots of mushrooms/toadstools]

Some of the vendors are: Freckled Fawn (alpha tile stickers); Craft Consortium's Into The Forest (patterned cardstocks and painted wood trail sign die-cut embellishment); The Paper Studio/Hobby Lobby (A2 size left-fold kraft card); Memento Ink (brown); the celery green paper is a very old scrap from my stash

Heart's Quest Challenge Blog Theme #27= Mother's Day occasion with heart/love

Different countries celebrate Mother's Day at different times so we want every crafter worldwide to get involved in joining us for celebrate women in your life that have the role of mom, grandma, memaw, mimi, nana, momma, etc. 

Heart's Quest #27 has 2 parts of its theme for requirements:

*Mother's Day occasion (have at least 1 image or a sentiment that alludes to the role of motherhood...)

AND

*have at least 1 usage of heart shape OR the word "heart" or the word "love; you can have more than 1, of course; and for the words, it can be a form or language equivalent such as lovely, heartwarming, heartfelt, beloved, etc.

March 28-April 13, 2023 with start and end times at 12:30am CST/Chicago.

Mother's Day ('mother hen'; Mother's Day 2023)

Heart/Love ('lots of love and prayers'; amber/yellow/gold heart shaped gem)
